How it was made

• The sewer Cistern was built on Pinewood Toronto's 15,000 sq. ft. Stage 2.
• Exteriors were shot in Port Hope, about 70 miles east of Toronto.
• Muschietti favored wide lenses, even for close-ups, to feel the volume of faces.
