The president of a small UHF TV station, looking for edgy programming, finds a broadcast that blurs the line between media and the body. It's a body-horror film about television.

How it was made

  • The first week of filming was spent videotaping the monitor inserts. The video camera used was a Hitachi SK-91.
  • The undulating TV screen was made with a video projector and a sheet of rubbery dental dam.
  • The pulsing body effects used an air compressor with valves hooked to a piano keyboard, operated by effects artist Frank C. Carere.
