How it was made

• Principal photography ran from March to June 1996, mainly in New York City.
• A ventilation structure of the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel served as the exterior of MIB headquarters.
• Rick Baker's team built prosthetic and animatronic aliens. ILM digitized his maquettes for more mobile digital versions.
